How I Became an Agent of Change (And You Can, Too).

Change. How does it feel in your body? What thoughts come to mind? Does it make you smile or does it make you cringe?

There is a book that says God is change, and I believe that. (Well, I believe that change is one face of God.)

Change happens from the moment of human conception. It is growth and evolution and loss. Change is inevitable. We are constantly transforming and evolving IF we allow it.

I used to be scared of change and often said that I didn’t like it.

But it kept happening - I was surrounded by it. I was born into an environment of massive change, and this has followed me into adulthood. I move a lot, change hobbies. I seek aliveness, that’s what I do. That’s what we all do if we allow the space for it. That’s what LIFE does. Life wants to live and life wants to grow. We must transform to be in the stream of life.

A Huge Personal Change in My Life

This past year, I was slowly learning to lean into change when a massive urge struck me.

At first, I tried to ignore it. But it grew and grew until so many factors were pointing towards it that I had to listen.

Change my career.

A career that I worked so hard to achieve. A career that I was really good at. A career that provided for me. A career that I loved. And it was time to change.

Slow gulp.

Now that I’m on the other side of that career transformation, I am beginning to understand that change is not just something I did - it’s something I am.

I am a change leader, a change doula, an initiator, and an agent of change.

I’ve spent a lot of time learning about Human Design, and specifically what it means to be an Ego Manifestor, to birth new impulses into existence that push boundaries.

My birth chart favors Uranus and Pluto, both representing change and transformation.

Part of my life path is learning how to welcome change, make friends with the impulses that ask to be born and that require change. From the little ones to the big ones to the absolutely terrifying and transformational.

Now, I finally understand these impulses are my soul asking to express itself in deeper and more authentic ways.

How You Can Change Too (Even If You’re Still Scared)

Much of our world makes change hard and discourages it. We are conditioned to believe that after building something, we must stay the course.

While it’s true that there is a time and purpose for consistency and dedication, there is also a season for change.

I want to help you hear your soul when it is calling for greater expression, more creativity, and expansion. I want to help guide and mentor you through change, the loss and the excitement that are part of it.

Where there is depression, anxiety, repeated patterns, physical pain, autoimmune conditions or simply that “stuck” feeling…these are all signs that some kind of change is needed and is being ignored.

It’s time to listen!

Just as the seasons turn so that the next cycle of life can be born, so do the seasons of our lives. If we listen, if we allow, if we keep stepping towards courage and sink into faith, we will be amazed at what is born.

Since I’ve stepped into my role as a change leader, life has become magical, fun, and more alive than I ever imagined. I wake up excited to say YES to MORE. I welcome the stream of life!

Ready to hear your soul and step into change? I am here for you every step of the way
